wonderful weekend

This weekend was pretty eventful and fun. Tucker was a big helper getting the weed out of the soon to be (we hope) garden again.








We decided to head to Wet 'n Wild water park on the west side and spent the afternoon at the kid section. Tucker loved it. The rest of us had a lot of fun too. There were slides and obstacles and a lazy river and wave pool that we could all go on. One of these days we will get to go back for a big kid day. After the park we went to Costco for a few things and we devoured a case of strawberries while in there. Davey can sure make a mess. And both of their hair is pretty wild lately. Tuck just got another haircut that morning by Dad.

 And a beautiful full rainbow that followed us on the way home.

On Sunday we barely survived church with two extremely tired kids and ended the day at the Visitors Center. I Had never walked into one of the rooms all the way and was amazed to find this beautiful view I have been missing for years.

 

Davey was having a great time smacking his hand on the table and Tucker was getting a kick out of it. They are really starting to play together more and more and I love it. I especially love how reverent and quite they are at church and the temple (I wish!)



 

Monday we headed early to Waimea with a few friends and had a great morning and afternoon there. Tucker and Doug had fun jumping off the rock and we all had fun playing in the water. It was a perfect day. And bummer that I took no pictures.  We came home and crashed, we, as in me and the kids, while Doug went out surfing. Had a relaxing evening to end off the weekend right.

Hello everyone. Just wanted to say hi real quick. Davey is getting so big and cute. We have been having some fun with him. He is a great snuggler, has 2 bottom teeth for a while now and working on 4 or so top teeth that are so close! He loves the water, loves his Daddy, and is being a pretty good little buddy lately.

Tucker at Happy School this week. He goes every Thursday and loves it. This week they got to make bunny ears and Easter egg hunt and learn about Easter. Bowen is missing cause he was sick but Owen and Tosh are his cute friends here. Aren't almost-3-year-olds so cute sometimes? Can't believe he's getting so old already!

We had visitors!

April, Zia, and Justine are here and we have been having fun with them. Swimming and hiking and eating Zia's birthday cake. More pics coming soon.

We are still alive and well. Hopefully I'll find time to update this soon. But I can't stand how cute this kid is sometimes. Like this time. But sometimes not so much as he's finally getting his first tooth and he is not happy about it at all. Seriously though, look at that toothless grin.

Thanksgiving in N.Y.

Started this post months ago but didn't finish it so it's been sitting in my drafts. I think I'll just put it up there unfinished. It was so much fun. I love my family. I am so lucky to have amazing parents, sisters, brother, in-laws, cousins, aunts and uncles, nephew and niece and of course cutie pie husband and kids. Very lucky.

Of course one of the first things Doug does is find out how the surf is going to be and gets in the water. Luckily for everyone he had lots of fun out there.



And we were sure glad to finally be in NY. Amazingly the flights weren't totally terrible, but we were glad to be home.



Everyone was home and all together. It was so fun.
Uncle Derek is a great sport and I can't believe that he'll push those trucks around with Tucker for so long.



I'm pretty sure they're both having fun...


There was delicious food and we ate way too much. Alli and mom had a lot ready before we even got there. Food wise, but also the house. It was amazing how bad it was and how they turned it around into something so comfortable. Thanks Mom and Alli and Dad.





One big happy family all squished around one table.




We had beautiful weather most of the time there. It was nice to be out and running around in the afternoon.

Black Friday sale. Dad got a big TV and surround sound and had these guys hook it up. He's liking having a few more guys around I think.

The sidewalk down to Unqua is completely covered in junk. And the docks are a mess. West Gilgo definitely looks a little beat up.

It was pretty freezing out there. Oh, and I should say for the record that I took one shot and hit one skeet. Oh yeah.








And when they weren't fighting with each other over everything, they were being pretty cute.

Colbie and Davey both were blessed in Dad's ward while we were there. It was pretty cool.



We didn't have a white outfit but he looked pretty handsome himself.


It was fun to go to church with everyone again. Not like we all got to sit down and relax much anyway. The Psillos' came for the blessings too. We were quite the circus in my Dad's tiny branch.



Love this one. Love all these people. We are very blessed to them in our lives.
