[ 22 weeks ]

We decided this morning that we are going to CA to visit grandma barbara while she is recovering and needs help, so i have a lot to do on this lunch hour before our flight tonight if you can imagine, including laundry, packing, getting various things together and cleaning up a bit so we don't come home to a messy house.... but here I am, with only 40 minutes left! But don't worry, i should have plenty of energy for that since I just ate a footlong from subway. the whole thing. don't judge ok. I am seriously hungry today. So... after that sandwich, this is what i look like :)

Also, you might start noticing a theme... that skirt i'm wearing is pretty much my favorite. you might be seeing a lot of it :)

So there you have it. About 4 months to go.

We were just looking at some old photo albums that I'm keeping in my office so they won't get mildewy and gross. Doug was keeping me company for a bit while I was working the night shift. Isn't he sweet :)

(Sidenote: he also brought me a hot fudge sundae from McDonalds earlier that day that I've been craving for a week. He's turning out to be quite the prince.)

Then he had "THE BEST DAY EVER" of surfing at boilers apparently and was in a really good mood and doing fun little dances for me. It doesn't get much better than Doug in a good mood after "THE BEST DAY EVER" of surf. I wish I had some pictures to document it with :)

Anyway, we were noticing that we really had so much fun and have had pretty good lives so far.

In this picture he pointed out that he is always so under-dressed. Funny thing is that I never even notice that. I think he looks great. But he did say I look good in that dress, so nice job picking it out Jess :)

He has such a baby face in this one!

And I just love this one.

 

Anyway, a few more oldies of you guys to come... I'll just keep you in suspense a little longer :)

But doesn't this look like it should be in that book or those fowards called "porn for women" with all the men doing housework and chores? Love it.

This was about 10 minutes before we had to leave today to go to church and give our talks on "How to Show Honor and Respect your Spouse." Haha. It was really funny. He probably spent about 1 hour total, if that, getting it ready, and about 10 hours worrying and actively procrastinating it. Is it any wonder I love him so much?

Just over 3 weeks and I will be seeing these two beautiful people. I think that they might be just as excited to see me (and my sunshiny weather) as I am to see them :)
