[ holli's birthday ]

OK, so a little late, but worth posting anyway...
For this joyous occasion we decided to go to Casablanca in Kailua for Moroccan food.  We have been talking about going to this place forever and finally made it there :) Thanks for being born Holli, so we could have an excuse to get out there... and because you are just wonderful of course. Very interesting and tasty dishes, lovely ambiance, and cool experience.
good thing they wash your hands before you start...
Enos trying quite unsuccessfully to get comfortable on those lovely seats.
our delicious entrees. a bunch of lamb and seafood. again yes, still no utensils...
The owner told us that we weren't any messier than most...
Happy Birthday Holli-Aynn.

[ 26 weeks ]

I think I'm at 26 weeks now... I can't remember anymore. It's getting kinda confusing. But i do know that i only have 96 days left according to the countdown on the page... 95 days to get bigger and bigger... yikes! And now we can see him moving around on the outside. Don't know how long that has been going on, but you can totally see my stomach getting knocked around from the inside. Doug and I have totally been enjoying this new form of entertainment and we're getting really anxious to know who he's going to look like and what he's going to be like! Any guesses?
Sorry for the filthy mirror! Next on the list to get to....

[ happy birthday jess ]

Dear sweet, beautiful, Jessica...
Just wanted to wish you a happy birthday (a bit belated on this post) and remind you that we love you and think you are fantastic. Thanks for being such a good listener and friend and always remembering everything and following up and being so thoughtful and on top of everything.

And thanks for having such an awesome laugh that is contagious. And Eric, thanks for making her laugh like that :) Like these old pictures I just came across?
We're so lucky you were born :)  I love March 24th.

[ peep peep ]

I'm sure there might be a few who disagree, although I can hardly imagine it, but I'm going to say that peeps are THE BEST Easter treat around. Well, for me they are #1 at least. Usually I think people grow out of this love for peeps, but not me. And I found out, not my grandma Barbara either. She still loves them too. So I'm guessing that might have come from her :)
This was breakfast the other morning and I'm not complaining. Didn't even give me a stomach ache. And I also found out that if you leave them sitting in the warm car all day they are even softer and more delicious then when fresh out of the package... kind of like a roasted marshmallow. So just in case you were wondering what to put in my Easter package....

Doug will probably get really mad at this post because he doesn't even like peeps, scoffs my #1 choice. He's more of a Cadbury mini eggs kinda guy.
