I want to remember this Sunday. Nothing super special about it but it's mt life right now. I love 8am church. I love my valiant 10 class this year and how they volunteer to read the scriptures and say the prayer and that we can feel the spirit there. I love that Tucker is settling in so well to sunbeams and doesn't cry anymore and goes happily. Davey goes happily to nursery and everyone loves him and his chubby cheeks. And his cute innocent smile. Lakey slept and smiled and was a sweet little baby. Tucker loves to sing. He always talks about primary songs. He's a natural leader and plays the oldest brother well. He is helpful and puts Lakey's binky in all the time and is genuinely concerned and protective of Davey and Lakey. Davey plays the younger brother perfectly. He follows and copies almost every single move Tucker makes. He goes to bed yelling, "Tucker!" or standing over his crib looking at Tucker in his bed, "Tucker, where are you?", and he wakes up from nap or morning and his first words are, "Tucker?". He recently learned how to actually jump off the ground and loves to go to the "beach" with his "swimsuit" and "surfboard". He loves alligator pond. Tucker is an amazing swimmer and does flips, dives, swims backwards and is really a sweetheart most of the time. I am really blessed! Even though I can't wait to get them all in bed by 7:30 or so, I really love them! Now if only I could find the energy to brush there teeth at night. We say family prayer every night, so maybe we'll just start praying for no cavities?
And we finally got a van! Amazing that we can all fit comfortably. We spent a good amount to get a real nice one. Pretty stoked! Tucker helping Davey to climb in and explore. Sweeties.

Davey is a shoe thief. He loves shoes. All of them. And if you are in a hurry to leave the house, be sure that you will not be able to find at least one of your slippers. He is getting pretty good at it but he thinks it's a game. Wants to take his shoes off after just a little bit.
Look at that cutie. He is really Doug's little buddy. He just loves him.
Learned how to fold his arms for prayer a few weeks ago. So reverent. As soon as he hears the word prayer or fold arms he immediately does it and stands still.
We went to our friends house for Halloween movie night outside, watched Monsters Univesity, pretty funny. And they all happened to be in those pjs. First year we are on top of the holiday pj game.
Taking a quick parting ride on the golf cart with Grandad. We have more pictures to come of their visit but this is all I had on my phone for now. So fun to have them here.
Baby girls baby shower. I didn't get the memo to wear pink and i look like dopey and huge, but it was a really fun night. we had delicious dinner, made headbands and just relaxed and opened presents.
Great time with everyone.
Hanging out watching Ellie and friends surf. And Dad. He kept saying, Dad is really good, he is the best. Tuck practicing his tree climbing skills while Grandad takes a nap in the shade and still manages to get totally burnt!
They went on a hike to Sacred Falls and Tucker was a trooper and went too. He insisted on being the leader for most of the way back apparently and was a champ. Until the last half hour or so when he cried the whole time cause he wanted his blankie. They didn't get home til dark so I would consider that a success. The first thing that Tucker says when he walks in is "I cried on the way back because I wanted my blankie."
This is what they do when Grandad is in charge at Waimea.
Hanging out at the temple (don't let this picture fool you, they were not being reverent at all, running around like crazies the whole time). These are our neighbors. Tucker loves to play with William.
Tuckers favorite breakfast lately is pancakes. Dad is the best pancake maker according to Tucker.
Alligator pond was perfect on Monday morning. A bunch of our friends ended up there and I had the morning off and Doug was out surfing Kakele's and we were having a great time in the beautiful sun and water and Tosh and Tuck are awesome in their goggles and boards.
He is the opposite of Tucker. He is always dirty. Tucker is usually clean. And he is always eating.
Right now they are playing hide and seek together and being real cute. It feels like Davey is such a baby still that I can't believe baby girl will knock him out of his place in 2 weeks or less. But I'm excited. I love these kids a real lot. When I don't want to strangle them I want to eat them up.

i'm at work, and it's kind of busy since it's the second day of fall and we are trying to rush and get all of our stuff working since i slacked off all summer, but i get a call from doug saying the kids are killing him.
davey is whining to get out of his high chair, tucker will not help clean up his room or listen, he is just sitting there playing with his cars. then he spills all the apple chips all over the carpet, davey is still whining, then he notices tucker has peed his undies and it's all over the floor and while he's cleaning that up and yelling at the kids, our neighbor who is kind of shy or something, it just takes her a long time to spit it out, comes over to see if we have her sons truck but she doesn't remember what color it is or much about it. ha! sounds like he is having a great day. and it's a million degrees in the house and everywhere. it is hard not to be irritated all the time. i love doug for staying home with the kids. he is really doing an excellent job and tucker just says, bye mom, when i leave and dayey prefers dad just as much as me, almost. i'm so glad that he is such a great dad and husband. i really love him and feel lucky. and i'm glad he has this chance to be home, that he knows the kids well, and their schedule, personalities and everything just as good as me. it's a nice little blessing right now.
tuck had his first day of happy school today at megs and loved it. told me he had fun without me or dad there. ha! it's tosh, bowen and lola this year. they are really so cute. And the finger in the nose there. they made balloon animals for A.
Tucker has given up his nap. Maybe about a week ago. It was getting way to hard to get him to sleep and he was staying up way too late. He is transitioning pretty well I think. He woke up for a few nights there screaming a bit, and he still does, but he goes to sleep by 8 or earlier and is out in minutes which is amazing. we were wasting so much time laying in there with him trying to wait for him to fall asleep. He's not too cranky during the day, and as long as he starts sleeping all the way through the night, awesome! He also started wearing undies during the day now. He really hasn't had any accidents until today! (since i wrote this post there have been a few more accidents!!) But hopefully it will go pretty smoothly. I think the goal is to get this done before baby girl comes. 2 months and counting. sheesh. And the next big thing is to get Tuck to sleep in a big boy bed. We have it set up in his room but we need to get a rail and i think we'll start moving him over and making room for Davey in Tuckers crib.
I can't believe we are going to be a family of 5 soon. Craziness. But i'm kind of excited. Having 2 kids has really been fun I think. Even though Tucker cannot leave Davey alone, he is constantly knocking him over, checking him, pushing him down to blow farts on his tummy, just always pushing and touching and pulling hair!!! But davye is a pretty good sport about it and Tucker is really sweet to him. Gives him the cutest good night kisses that davey just loves. And Davey boy is moving to one nap. He really has the cutest, chubbiest cheeks ever and just has the cutest smile you want to eat up. so much more of a baby than tucker ever was. love them both!
