California! Part 1
Beware, this is long and full of pictures. We had an awesome visit as usual. So busy but so sad to leave everyone. So hectic you almost think it will be nice to get home to a normal routine and then you are so sad to be home because it's so boring you miss having everyone around. I'm so glad we got to go. Tucker did great on all his flights and he grew up so much during the 3 weeks we were gone. He smiled much more, cried a lot less and was a lot more fun to be around by the time we left. Amazing what a few weeks will do in his little life.
Got to hang out with Kaity more this trip I think since we were both stuck with the kiddies and couldn't really do much else very easily. OK not stuck in a bad way, but yeah, pretty much stuck. So different being there this time with a baby!
Down at the river. Tuckers first trip there. And it was fun. He slept in the shade most of the time until dad came back and asked if he wanted to swim...
Gio is such a brave, cool kid! He was totally going through these scary, deep caves at the river and loving it! So impressive Gio.
Everyone was so nice to help watch him while Doug and I went and did things. I love you guys. And it looks like Tuck does too.
Favorite quote of the summer by Gio, "So, what can he do?" Ha, good question.
Starry night. Doug was trying to catch a shooting star during the meteor shower but this is what he was able to get. Not too bad.
And Tuckers first trip to the lake. Very fun as usual.
