3 weeks...

and the week count begins again... but with much cuter pictures to accompany it this time...

well, we've made it 3 weeks today. and it seems like the longest/fastest 3 weeks ever. tucker already has gotten over the worst diaper rash ever and giving me a new patch of grey hairs in the process. he's finally growing some eyelashes :) and getting a lot of hair. doug keeps saying it's going to be curly... so we'll see about that. everyone seems to love his little nose. he's started getting really fussy in the evening and i'm pretty sure he has some gas, so we'll see how the next little while goes. hopefully we'll figure out what the sudden, startling screaming is all about. i'm pretty sure he's about 8lbs already. he's starting to feel a little heftier. and he is getting really strong i think. his head is way less floppy already and he seems way less breakable. and he slept 4 hours in a row for a few nights. sooo, i guess besides the fussing and screaming fits, he's a total keeper :)

It feels like this is what I'm going to be doing for the next little while... and not much else...

his little mohawk
i love how cute he is in his sleepers. thought it would be too hot for them here, but his little arms get so chilly without them.

  1. Tucker looks so much like you in this last picture becky. Man, he is too cute. I love the crying picure, really captures the feel of the moment :). I'm glad he's starting to sleep more than 2 hours at a time, maybe you'll have a minute to regain your sanity. And the blue rocking chair, looks like it's working out for you after all :) Love you. Your son is the cutest baby ever.

  6. i cant wait to see him in person. he is so stinking cute. i say that every time but its true. i love the pictures. keep putting more up when you have time. hope one of those medicines works for him. and good luck with out grandma. its scary when they leave but then you realize you can do it all by yourself and it makes you feel good, tired, very tired, but good. and its true all you do is feed the little munchkins, your right about that one!

  7. He is adorable! I can't believe how fast he is growing. He has almost caught up to Juliana already. :-)

Glad he is sleeping longer each night. Before you know it, he will be sleeping five, six hours at night. The first time that happens might freak you out a little because you'll think something it wrong....but the extra sleep will be much welcomed.

Oh and don't worry about the gas. Dr. Dawn says all babies have gas and it is normal. We were worried about Juliana and her having too much gas and Dawn said it was completely normal. :-)

Keep the pics coming...he is so cute to look at.

  8. Becky I just cant get over how freaking cute he is. I think you ( meaning me) forget how tiny newborns are until you see and picture or hold one. Congratulations again, you are going to be a great mama.

  9. By the way, I heard Tuck had a really bad diaper rash, but that's its cleared up. I know everyone has probably bombarded you with annoying advice whether it was asked for or not. And I am about to do the same. Madeline had a really baby diaper rash - so bad it left a little scar..
But this diaper cream I use works so fast its amazing. Its called Comfrey cream, and its actually an herb. You can buy it at the health food store or any store like that. It really is amazing, it even helped her scar go away. Your baby's bum will thank you.
