5 Years of Service

We had our Employee Appreciation dinner a few weeks ago and I got recognized for 5 years of service at BYU-H. Whoohoo! It came with a beautiful black single pearl necklace that I got to pick out. Not too shabby. The dinner was delicious and the music was really fun. We actually had a really great time. I say actually because you never know how these work things might go. I'm glad Doug came, it was a really fun date night. They had section set up for photos and for some reason Doug was willing to oblige.

On another note, I love my husband. I love this picture of him, and when he smiles like that, especially when he is smiling at me. I love that he is so sweet and proud of me for my accomplishments and makes me feel special. Yes, I love him. How can you not love that face?

Julie got married!

The last sister bites the dust. The wedding was so beautiful. Julie was of course gorgeous. Julie and Lane seemed so happy and wonderful together.  Lane's family seems awesome. And I hardly got any pictures or any time with Julie!! I'll get mine up on the computer to post a few soon, but thanks Kylie for posting these. Can't wait to see the rest soon.

express yourself

He started to love animals a few months ago. He's always appreciated a quick snuggle with something soft, like really quick, but recently he made friends with his animals. When you go to take him out of his crib it oftentimes turns into quite the ordeal. Currently he sleeps with all of these each night, and loves them all: A duck, 3 dogs, 2 bunnies, 1 crab, 1 lion, 1 bear, 1 fish, and 1 monkey. Before he will get out of his crib he stands there and picks up each of his animals one by one (or directs you which animal to pick up one by one) and calls them all by name or sound. Then we have to take them into the living room with us, and of course his blanket is right there too.

I think he first showed his love to the duck duck, but really the love flowed with the bear from aunt Alli for Christmas. He just growls when he refers to him. The dog that I think Grandma Barbara got Tuck from a garage sale has recently become a close tie if not winner for the favorite animal. He has three dogs. One he calls big dog, little dog and the other one just dog. I think they make going to bed a lot more fun because ever since he started making friends with them he rarely cries when we put him down for a nap or for the night.

words

We were attempting to get some of Tucker's words on film but he wasn't totally cooperating. I love his words right now and that unless you are used to them they might not mean the same thing to you as they do to me.
